2016, God willing, will be the year that I graduate from medical school.
It will be a huge achievement, my biggest yet. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I will soon be released into the humble trenches of the NHS.
There a few hurdles to jump over first. Hurdles that are bigger and wider than those before. I know it'll be sad to close this chapter. Say goodbye to the places and people I've become familiar with, and head for the unknown. It'll be challenging and that fuels my worries and anxieties. But if I've learnt anything from the last few years, it's that nothing amazing comes from staying in my comfort zone.
